Gore Hill Memorial Cemetery
Join us for a guided walk on Sunday 14 September 2025 at 10 am and discover the stories that shaped the district. Gore Hill Memorial Cemetery is the resting place of many Lane Cove pioneers including Maria Green, the first resident of Greenwich in 1836 and the priests of St Ignatius College which was founded in 1878 on 33 acres on the Lane Cove River.
Important Information:
Meet at the Westbourne St gate near the Pacific Hwy in St Leonards at 9:45 am for a 10 am start.
This is a walking tour.
Please wear enclosed walking shoes and bring sunscreen, a hat and a refillable water bottle.
Please dress for the weather including sun, wind or rain.
