American Legion Post Memorial

This service commemorates those who served in the American Civil War including 15 veterans interred at Rookwood and all men and women who since died in US military service.

The event will take place in and around the American Stores pavilion, near the WWII US section, the site of the flagpole erected by the cemetery and where the commemorative plaque and one of the Civil War veterans (Isaac Putman Smith, 1908) are situated.
