Death Cafe: Let's talk about sadmin (post death admin)

After someone dies, there’s a whole layer of life administration that quietly lands on the shoulders of loved ones. It can feel overwhelming, confusing and exhausting, often arriving at a time when you’re least equipped to deal with it.

This workshop gently unpacks what’s commonly referred to as “sadmin”: the practical tasks and paperwork that follow a death, and how to navigate them with a little more clarity and confidence.

In this warm, open and judgment‑free session, we’ll explore:

• Who you actually need to inform and when
• How to approach banks, Centrelink, insurance companies and other service providers
• Helpful tools, checklists and resources that can make the process easier
• Simple ways to feel more organised and less overwhelmed during a difficult time

This is a supportive space to learn, ask questions and demystify a process that many people are left to figure out alone.

Come with curiosity, leave with clarity and a little more confidence navigating the admin side of death.
