Friends of Rookwood Guided Tour

This guided walk offers a fascinating overview of some of the most historically significant areas within Rookwood Necropolis. Perfect for first-time visitors and history lovers alike, you'll gain insight into the stories, architecture, and cultural treasures that make Rookwood one of the most unique cemeteries in the world.

This walking tour is hosted by Friends of Rookwood. 

Important Information:

• Enter from East Street entrance, arrive at St Michael's Chapel off William Drive at 9:30am for a 10am start.
• This is a walking tour 
• Bookings recommended— this is a paid event with proceeds raised by the Friends of Rookwood going towards restoration projects within the cemetery.
• Please wear enclosed walking shoes, and bring sunscreen, a hat, and a refillable water-bottle.
• Please dress for the weather including sun, wind or rain.
