Greek Orthodox Easter Service

    • Join the Greek Orthodox community for the annual Easter service and procession.

    Temporary Road Closures along Weekes Avenue and Carpenter Avenue on Friday 18th April at 12pm-3pm.

     

    On Friday 18th May from 12:00 pm, Easter service will be at St Athanasios Greek church, followed by a procession around St Athanasios and burial grounds immediately surrounding the church.

     

    Greek Easter services will continue over the course of the weekend outside of normal cemetery gate closing times:

    • Sunday 13 April - Friday 18 April: Late services, gates will remain open till 9pm.
    • Saturday 19 April: Midnight service, cemetery gates will remain open and not close.
    • Sunday, 20 April: Gates will revert back to normal closing times.
