Let’s Talk About Life and Death at the Shire Death Cafe
Join our experienced facilitators Lillian Lyon and Nicque Misa-Richards for an open and honest conversation about death, dying, and living. This safe space encourages curiosity, connection, and growth, helping break down taboos surrounding end-of-life matters. Complimentary tea and coffee will be provided.
A Death Cafe aims to:
- Create space for open dialogue about death: Conversations help to break down the taboos and fears often associated with death and dying.
- Promote death literacy: Talking openly about death allows participants to gain a deeper understanding of end-of-life matters and grief.
- Encourage personal reflection: These conversations often lead to insights about life, helping people re-evaluate their priorities, relationships, and the ways they live each day.
This event is for 18+ participants.
Spaces are limited, so register now to join the conversation!
This is not a grief support session, but a safe space for curiosity and connection.
This event is facilitated by Shire Death Cafe and hosted by Metropolitan Memorial Parks.
