Vesak - Celebrating compassion, peace and kindness

Vesak commemorates the birth, nibbana/nirvana and complete nibbana/nirvana of the Buddha, Siddhattha Gotama. As such, it is an important date on the calendar for Buddhists in NSW.

Important information:

• The event is being held on Friday 22nd May from 4pm to 5pm.
• The event is being held at All Souls Chapel, Rookwood General Cemetery and Crematorium (near the Administration office)
• Parking is available adjacent to All Souls Chapel
• This is a wheelchair accessible and parking access friendly venue.
• All are welcome however RSVP is required for planning purposes.
• Metropolitan Memorial Parks’ CEO Denise Ora and Ayya Suvira, Australian Sangha Association will give addresses on the day.
