Shrouded cremation

A shrouded cremation is a cremation where the deceased is wrapped in a cloth shroud instead of being placed in a coffin or casket, and is supported by a specially designed shroud bearer.

This differs from a shrouded burial, which also uses a cloth wrap but involves burial in the earth rather than cremation. Shrouded cremation is carried out in accordance with NSW Health approvals and offers a respectful and simplified alternative to traditional cremation services.
